Why are so many celebrities wearing fake eyelashes made of mink fur? Have you ever noticed how a mink’s fur coat is lighter at the base and darker at the tips, giving the illusion of longer thicker lashes? To duplicate this look, use the technique rightfully called “minking.” This works especially well if you have light hair and think black mascara is just too harsh!
You will need one brown and one black mascara. The brown causes the lashes to appear thicker, while the black causes them to appear longer. After curling your lashes, apply a coat of the brown mascara. After it has dried, either apply another coat (until the desired thickness is achieved) or apply black mascara just to the tips of the lashes. Repeat on bottom lashes if desired. The result: Extra-long lashes!
