As summer approaches, you’ll no doubt be packing sunscreen into your beach bag.

However, remember that sunscreen, like any skin care product, has a use by date.  The cream that you’re using from 2004 is probably no longer effective in repelling the sun’s deadly rays.

Always check the bottle for an expiry date.  If you can’t find the expiry date, do a quick check of colour, odour or consistency.  If it looks or smells funky, throw it out and invest in some new suncreen.
