Tip Stop – Upping your water intake

Each morning when I get into work, I fill a two-litre jug full of water. My aim is to have one litre finished by lunchtime and to have the rest finished by the time I go home at 6pm. Some days, this works pretty well but, most days, I look at that jug and think ‘Geez, today is going to be a struggle’.
I’m sure I’m not alone in struggling to maintain my water intake. The Crystal Light Global Water Way Challenge has some great tips on how to up your winter intake including:
- making sure you drink water with every meal;
- don’t just use the office watercooler as a place to meet, greet and gossip. Have some water while you’re there;
- add a little extra flavour. I personally love lemon but Crystal Light sachets are delicious (I love their Iced Teas) and sugar free (which means they’re totally guilt free and don’t we all need more guilt free treats in our day?); and
- wherever you go, take a water bottle with you.
