I like to try new things, so normally, I’m all about trends. I like to be on the front end of them and get out before they get stale (unless there’s one I love, and then I’ll wear it forever, no matter how unpopular), and I like things that are kooky and dramatic.

As it is, though, I’m not sure what to do about the black lipcolor trend. I’m kind of mad at myself for balking since I normally like to try things that are odd or counter-intuitive, but balk I must. Perhaps the fact that I flirted a bit too much with goth-dom in middle school and high school have me recalling bad memories, I’m not sure.

But when my favorite makeup brand launches something like MAC Glimmerglass in Blackware, I can’t help but reconsider. Maybe I should just get it and try it – the price, after all, is pretty reasonable. What do you think? Would you rock it?
